I’ve been cleaning up my workshop lately, and have a lot of junk. I’m not going to keep all of it, but what I do keep I want to be organized and easy to find. I like the idea of the existing apps (such as Totescan, Smartlabels, Elephant Trax) for tracking contents of boxes, but I don’t like the idea of installing another app, or losing my data if these companies go out of business.
So I came up with my own system. It’s pretty easy to do, and is working well for me. Take a look and see if you like it.
